Fundraiser!
A leaky roof over our storeroom doesn’t just threaten timber and tiles—it puts our entire collection of amateur dramatics costumes, props, and set pieces at risk.
These are the heart of our productions: the gowns that transform church halls into ballrooms, the battered suitcases and vintage lamps that turn blank stages into living rooms, the masks and hats that give characters their spark. When water gets in, fabrics mildew, wigs tangle and rot, paint peels, and delicate items warp beyond repair. Replacing even a fraction of these treasures would cost far more than our small group can afford—and some are simply irreplaceable.
Your support for this roof-repair fundraiser will protect years of creativity, volunteer hours, and community spirit. A sound roof means we can safeguard what we already own, plan future shows with confidence, and keep ticket prices accessible. It means our young performers can continue to borrow costumes for their first roles, our backstage volunteers can build and store sets safely, and our audiences can keep enjoying the magic we create together. Every contribution, large or small, helps turn buckets on the floor back into spotlights on stage—preserving our shared stories for seasons to come.
Any surplus to what we need to fix the roof, will go towards a new lighting system! Our current system is clunky, outdated and difficult to train new people to use. Modernising with a dedicated lighting desk and newer LED lights will use far less electricity, produce less heat, have a longer lifespan, better colour flexibility, give greater control through lighting and DMX systems, reduce weight and logistics.
All donations are appreciated. Thank you for your ongoing support!
